The AQ-SPEC program has acquired a number of commercially available "low-cost" air quality sensors. Please click on the image for information on a specific sensor as provided by the manufacturer.
General Description The PAMAir Airmazing PAS-OA320-3G sensor provides real-time measurements of PM2.5 mass concentration. It also measures temperature and relative humidity. For this evaluation, data can be logged and retrieved via PC with vendor-provided software through a USB cable. The sensor has cellular communication capability when deployed in certain countries, but this capability has not been verified for this evaluation.
Principle of Operation The PAMAir Airmazing PAS-OA320-3G uses a Sensirion SPS30 particulate matter sensor. The measurement principle is based on laser scattering using advanced, high resolution particle size binning. The sensor uses advanced algorithms to calculate PM1.0, PM2.5 and PM10 mass concentrations.
