Magnasci SRL - SMOGGIE-PM

General Description

The Magnasci SRL uRADMonitor  is SMOGGIE-PM (v1.101) is an air quality sensor that provides real-time measurements of particulate matter (PM_1.0, PM_2.5 and PM­₁₀) mass concentrations, temperature and relative humidity.

Principle of Operation

The uRADMonitor SMOGGIE-PM sensor uses a Plantower PMSA003 laser particle counter, where laser beams detect particles going past by their reflectivity. These sensors count suspended particles in sizes of 0.3, 0.5, 1.0, 2.5, 5 and 10μm. These particle counts are processed by the sensor using a complex algorithm to calculate the PM_1.0, PM_2.5 and PM­₁₀ mass concentrations. The PMSA003 sensors come factory calibrated.
