CairPol Cairsens

General Description

The CairPol Cairsens offers a complete range of air quality gas sensors that measures single pollutants including nitrogen dioxide (NO2), carbon monoxide (CO), ozone & nitrogen dioxide, ammonia, hydrogen sulfide & mercaptans, non-methane volatile organic compounds (NMVOC), formaldehyde, sulfur dioxide (SO2), particulate matter, temperature and relative humidity.

Principle of Operation

The CairPol Cairsens sensors use the electrochemical sensors consist of three electrodes: the working electrode, the counter electrode and the reference electrode. The gases of interest will diffuse through a permeable membrane towards the sensitive electrode. The electrical signal generated is proportional to the concentration of the gas.
