Blues Wireless - Airnote

General Description

The Blues Wireless Airnote sensor is an air quality monitoring device that provides real-time measurements of PM_1.0, PM_2.5 and PM­₁₀ mass concentrations and environmental parameters such as temperature, relative humidity and pressure. The Airnote sensor is designed by Blues Wireless and Safecast and manufactured by Blues Wireless. Data can be accessed on the Notehub dashboard by Blues Wireless and can be visualized on the Safecast Map.

Principle of Operation

The Blues Wireless Airnote sensors use a Plantower PMS7003M laser particle counter, where laser beams detect particles by their reflectivity. These sensors count suspended particles in sizes of 0.3, 1.0, 2.5 and 10 μm. These particle counts are processed by the sensor using a complex algorithm to calculate the PM_1.0, PM_2.5 and PM₁₀ mass in μg/m³. The PMS7003M sensors come factory calibrated.
