Alphasense OPC-R2

General Description

The Alphasense OPC-R2 sensor is an optical particle counter that provides real-time measurements of PM1.0, PM2.5 and PM10 mass concentrations and environmental parameters such as temperature and relative humidity.

Principle of Operation

The Alphasense OPC-R2 raw PM sensor uses laser beams to detect particles from 0.30 to 12.4 µm in diameter with 16 software bins. Count measurements are converted into mass concentrations of PM1.0, PM2.5 & PM10 using embedded algorithms.
