Registration for the 2010
Lawn Mower Exchange Program will begin on
Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 8 a.m.
Residents living within AQMD's 4-county jurisdiction*
will be able to register to turn in their old, working, gas lawn
mower and purchase a cordless, rechargeable, electric lawn mower at a
greatly reduced price. Four models will be available for you to
choose from when you register. The models and prices are listed below:

If you would like to receive e-mail
notification a week or two before registration opens, you can
sign up by clicking here for the Lawn Mower Exchange List Serve.
Enter your e-mail address twice and then select
the Lawn Mower Exchange List Serve from the list of options. If you do not
have e-mail you can call 1-888-425-6247 to leave your name and mailing
address and an event flyer will be mailed to you.
No registrations will be accepted prior to April 21. This year we
will offer nine exchange locations for you to select from and we will
have 9,380 electric lawn mowers available for exchange.
*The AQMD's jurisdiction includes all
of Orange County, most of Los Angeles County (excluding the Antelope
Valley), most of Riverside County, and the non-desert portion of San
Bernardino County.
