Through the Residential Electric Lawn & Garden Equipment Rebate Program, participants can purchase new cordless electric: lawn mower, leaf blower, chainsaw, or trimmer, either online or from a manufacturer-authorized retailer or dealer, including hardware and home improvement stores.  The program will require residents to turn in their operational, old gasoline lawn mower, leaf blower, chainsaw, or trimmer to an approved dismantler (PDF, 407KB) for permanent destruction in order to receive a rebate based on the purchase price of the new equivalent piece of equipment.

The Residential Electric Lawn & Garden Equipment Rebate Program will be implemented on a first-come, first-served basis and will provide up to $250 towards the cost of the residential cordless battery electric lawn mower, leaf blower, chainsaw, or trimmer.
