Aeroqual AQY-R

General Description

The Aeroqual AQY-R is an air quality monitoring system designed to provide real-time air quality data of ozone (0-200 ppb), nitrogen dioxide (0-500 ppb), PM2.5 (0-1000 µg/m3) mass concentration, temperature and relative humidity. The sensor pushes data to the Aeroqual Cloud server authorized users can access data via a web browser on an internet-connected device.

Principle of Operation

The AQY-R sensor uses a Gas Sensitive Semiconductor (GSS) sensor to measure ozone and a Gas Sensitive electrochemical (GSE) sensor to measure NO2. It uses a laser particle counter which uses a light scattering method to size and count particles and then convert particle numbers to mass concentrations through proprietary algorithms.
