The SCAQMD will select projects and technologies for demonstration and commercialization that reduce emissions from identified source categories in the study area.  Technology displays in established sites and a permit assistance center will also be set up in each of the study areas.  Funding and resources will come from existing local, state, and federal sources, as well as new funding sources to be identified by SCAQMD staff.

SCAQMD cosponsors with Electric Vehicle International, Inc. to replace 28 older diesel delivery trucks with zero-emission medium-duty trucks at UPS facility in San Bernardino.

March 26 and 28-29, 2011 - SCAQMD Leaf Blower Exchange
SCAQMD staff conducted a leaf blower exchange in San Bernardino.  A total of 450 leaf blowers were exchanged.

March 19, 2011 - SCAQMD Lawnmower Exchange
SCAQMD staff conducted a lawnmower exchange in San Bernardino.  A total of 487 lawnmowers were exchanged.
