On June 10 and 11, 2015, the SCAQMD hosted a Control Strategy Symposium at its Diamond Bar headquarters in order to provide an open forum on emission reduction strategies, in areas such as light- and medium-duty vehicles, off-road equipment, goods movement, area sources, point sources, and indirect sources. These strategies will be analyzed and considered for potential inclusion in the 2016 Air Quality Management Plan (AQMP) which is currently under development. Panels of experts spoke on specific technologies and control concepts, and deliberated on questions from the panel moderators and audience.

Clean technology vehicles were displayed including fuel cell, battery electric and plug-in hybrid electric models, as well as an exhibits of new products or clean technologies.
