The Goods Movement white paper builds upon ongoing planning activity already taking place but focus on the potential air quality impacts of new technologies by applying various scenarios, similar to the approach taken by the CARB “Vision” document. In doing so, the trade-offs in cost and environmental benefits from implementing different scenarios are highlighted. Such scenarios include targeting tailpipe emissions, ship emissions, cargo handling equipment, and stationary sources.
