General Description
The iMonPM sensor manufactured by PM Monitor, a division of GRIMM Aerosol Canada, is an air quality monitoring device that provides real-time measurements of PM1.0, PM2.5 and PM10 mass concentrations, and environmental parameters such as temperature and relative humidity as well as internal temperature and relative humidity measurements. Data can be visualized and accessed on the PM Monitor dashboard.
Principle of Operation
The iMonPM sensor uses a Wuhan Cubic PM3006S laser particle counter as the PM raw sensor, with a customized heated inlet. The sensor measures quantity per unit volume for different particle size and calculate the PM1.0, PM2.5 and PM10 mass in μg/m3 via mathematical algorithm and scientific calibration. The iMonPM uses a reflector and straight linear path to improve low detection limit.
